Screen_shot_2011-11-17_at_7.45It might have gone under the radar but CTV3 News understands that on Monday November 21st, 36 year old Felipe Wagner accused of stabbing his 46 year old wife, Martha Alicia Wagner, was charged with attempted murder at the Orange Walk Magistrate Court. The incident dates back to November 16th, 2011.

According to reports Alicia Wagner was in the company of her brother-in-law somewhere along Rio Bravo Street in the Louisiana Area, when her enraged husband, approached the couple apparently under the influence of alcohol. Wagner then inflicted two stab wounds to his wife, one on the chest and one on the back. All indications are that prior to the stabbing incident Martha Alicia Wagner and her husband Felipe Wagner, who had just returned from the U.S, were already having marital problems. Martha Alicia Wagner is still recuperating at the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital.
