Screen_shot_2011-05-25_at_3.16.34_PMOn Tuesday, the body of Honduran national Milton Munoz was found near the back door of his home in the Halls Layout area of Corozal Town, and since then his family members and the Police Department have been anxiously awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination.

While Police could not rule out foul play just yet, because of a lack of signs of violence on the body it was being called a sudden death pending the post-mortem examination.

Today the results are in and confirm that Munoz was not the victim of foul play. According to the medical examiner, he died from head trauma as a consequence of a bicycle fall. We spoke to a member of the family today who told us that Munoz apparently rammed into the back of the house on his bicycle and hit his head, after which the bike fell on top of him.

Milton Munoz was laid to rest today at the Evangelical Church in Corozal. CTV-3 sends our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during their time of bereavement.
