policeAt news time tonight, our newsroom received a report of a missing minor from San Jose Palmar Village in the Orange Walk district. Just before 5:00pm this evening, Carolina August, a Belizean domestic reported to Police that her niece 16 year old Maria Gonzalez was nowhere to be found. According to August, the minor left home sometime after her parents went to sleep last night and has not returned home.

Gonzalez is described as being of Hispanic descent and fair complexion, with black shoulder length hair and is 5 foot 2 inches in height. She was last seen wearing a ¾ blue jeans and a light blue blouse.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Maria Gonzalez is asked to call the Orange Walk Police Station at 911 or 302-2022, or to contact her aunt at phone number 669-0339.
