Screen_shot_2013-10-28_at_7.49.51_PMA joint drug operation between members of the Special Branch and the Quick Response Team from the Orange Walk Police Formation over the weekend led to the detention of two minors and 32 year old Marva Janet Castro from the Village of August Pine Ridge, Orange Walk.

 

On Friday October 25th, around 1:45pm, a search was conducted at Castro’s residence which led authorities to the discovery of a blue warm cap containing 222.5 grams of suspected cannabis.

 

As a result, Castro and the two minors were escorted to the Orange Walk Police Station where they were arrested and jointly charged for drug trafficking.
