policeOrange Walk Police are on the lookout for the perpetrators of a burglary which occurred on Saturday. According to a report made by Palmar resident Miguel Landaverde, sometime between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm on Saturday his home was robbed.

Stolen from within the premises were an assortment of tools, clothing, and footwear all valued at $5,735. A white Ford Escort car belonging to Roel Moguel valued at $5,000 was also stolen.

Up to news time there have been no arrests, but Police take the opportunity to remind residents of Orange Walk that handling stolen goods is a serious offense.
