The Banquitas House of Culture hosted an exhibition at the start of the month featuring paintings and arts and craft made by the hands of the talented men in our community. Following the success of that exhibit - which is still open for viewing, the Institute of Creative Arts Orange Walk has joined Banquitas House of Culture to organize another event geared at all dads during their special month.

The event is a Full Moon Concert under the theme “Valuing and Recognizing our Male Role Models.” Ivette Torres, President of ICA Orange Walk told us more.

“We believe that our fathers are our role model and with this in vision we also had an exhibit open here at Banquitas and they are the figures of the house and we want to recognize them, value them and appreciate their work, we believe that they also deserve a time whereby we can share with them. This concert is the first time ever that we are having it here in Orange Walk and it’s a full moon concert. Since its father’s day we are gearing it for this month since we believe that they are very especial also and our team is valuing and recognizing our male role models.”

The audience will be entertained by Captain Roby who promises to give all dads a good show. He will be backed up by the Dream Girls who will be taking on the spotlight in both singing and dancing. Local talent Giovanni Rodriguez will also be there to entertain.

It is going to be a spectacular event especially for the fathers.”
