Belize_Police_Dept-BPDpolice_logoWhile authorities in San Pedro remain on high alert looking for the shooter in last week’s murder of Tour Guide, Jeffery Eiley, today cops have another shooting to investigate in that municipality.

On Tuesday, at around 9:20pm, police visited the San Juan Area of San Pedro Town where they observed 21-year-old Darrington Louriano Jr. of San Juan Area suffering from one apparent gunshot wound to the left shoulder. Preliminary investigations revealed that Louriano was walking on Sandpiper Street from the direction of Pescador Drive towards San Juan Area when he heard a loud bang that sounded like a gunshot and realized that he had been shot. Louriano was escorted to the San Pedro Poly Clinic where he received medical attention and released. Police investigation continues.
