policeFour persons are lucky to be alive tonight after they were involved in a road traffic accident on the San Estevan Road. Douglas Cisneros, Zenin Zedassie, Ingrid Warllen and Liveini Cruz were traveling in this blue Ford Explorer when Cisneros lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road. The vehicle we understand found its way into the bushes, overturned several times and landed with its four wheels in the air. Tire marks show where the driver lost control while blood stains left behind are proof that at least one of the passengers was injured. CTV3 News understands that all four passengers were able to get out of the vehicle before help arrived. Cisneros received a cut wound to the forehead and left foot while the other passengers received minor injuries. All persons were taken to the Northern Regional Hospital for treatment and police are investigating. CTV3 News understands that Cisneros had just rented the vehicle for the day and was heading to the village of Chunox when the accident occurred.
