imagesCA0KZ356And if you doubt us when we say that the Council is penniless, we were reliably informed that this morning when Council workers reported to Town Hall to collect their pay from Town Administrator Andre Moguel, they were informed that there is no money to pay them yet.

This is not the first time this has happened, and viewers will recall that just last month when CTV-3 first broke the news of the bankruptcy of this Town Council, workers were again up in arms because they had not been paid when they went to collect at the end of the month.

And in related news, Mayor Phillip de la Fuente is out of the country on holiday, and until he returns his deputy Enid Moralez will be acting as Mayor.
