“When you say individuals how many persons they gave account of?”

Andrew Ramirez - OC Corozal Town

“Two, two persons one with a shot gun and the other remained inside the bushes.  Again this has a lot to do with abandoned properties that have been left un kept and these are hubs for criminals.”

Victor Castillo – Reporter

“In respect to this incident has there been a motive establish as to why was Mr. Guerra was the target?”

Andrew Ramirez - OC Corozal Town

“In relation to the motive it is a very interesting one because the assailants according to the victim did not indicate any verbal communication with the individual, whether halt or stop they just went straight into the shooting, very interested so from our point we are looking at an attempt robbery but it is an interesting scenario at this point in time.”

Police believe that Guerra was being watched. CTV3 News understands that Martin Guerra is close to Delmar Guerra better known as Diablo from the Village of San Joaquin.

Viewers might recall that back in October Guerra was shot by a lone gunman while in Calderitas in Chetumal Quintana Roo. Police say it is unclear whether both shootings are related.
