Last year Marcos Bradley, along with four other persons including his wife, were charged for drug trafficking after Orange Walk Police searched his residence located in Trail Farm Village and found 111 grams of cannabis concealed inside a plastic bag. Since then Bradley’s case has been pending at the court and today when he appeared before Magistrate Linden Flowers his future was determined.
Bradley, we understand, pled guilty to drug trafficking and as a result Magistrate Linden Flowers ordered him to pay $10,000 effective immediately or in default three years in prison.
Since Bradley pleaded guilty to the charge, the other four persons arrested during the search were free to go. Up to news time Bradley had not paid the fine which more than likely means that he will be spending the next three years of his life behind bars.
