policeOrange Walk Police hit pay-dirt during an early morning raid this morning in the Orange Walk district. Acting on information received, Police visited a marijuana field located south east of Santa Martha Village. There they found 5,000 marijuana plants ranging between 4 and 8 feet. Unlike many other plantation raids where no one is found in the area, this time Police hit the jackpot because along with the drugs they also found Raul and Romelio Lino who were arrested and charged for cultivation of marijuana. Both men are expected to be arraigned at the Orange Walk Magistrates Court tomorrow.
