Screen_Shot_2014-09-01_at_8.33.21_PMThe death of a sixty-three year old man is not the result of foul play according to authorities. The elderly man, Francisco Rodriguez, was found this morning about 8:10 by his niece Rosalin Rodriguez at her home in San Estevan Village. According to her, her uncle was drinking heavily on Sunday and apparently fell asleep on some card board boxes he had laid open on the floor behind the house.

When she found him this morning, she says she thought he was asleep and only realized he had passed when she went to touch him. His feet were soaked wet, according to Rodriguez and when police moved him there was some blood on the card board.

His family says he was a chronic alcoholic. He would come and go as he pleased from his niece’s home in San Estevan Village. An autopsy performed on him showed that he died as a result of multiple organ failure due to alcoholism.
