no_imageThe Belize Chamber of Commerce began establishing business ties with businesses in Yucatan that are dedicated to food and services. The ties were established with businesses who participated in the 16th Trade Expo.


The Belize Chamber of Commerce representatives noted that the Trade Expo organized by CANACO in Merida, is a major vent that gave the Belize delegation the opportunity to make contact with companies that market different lines of products and services and to familiarize themselves with the wide variety of goods and services provided in Yucatan. Among the services being sought for by the Belizean Delegation was printer of commercial labels for packaging of beverages. 


The delegation also had the opportunity of learning more on the health services provided in Merida which is among some of the best in the country. Representative of the BCC, Yorshabell Cattouse, told the Mexican press that for Belizeans businessmen, the Mexican economy is a major producer of goods and services and a large market, so they are keen to increase trade with our country. President of CANACOME, José Manuel López Campos, says that since Belize imports large quantities of a variety of goods, Mexico is bound to benefit from the newly formed ties.
