policeThere is another motor vehicle theft to report tonight, but this time the victim hails from Patchakan Village in the Corozal District.

 

Thirty four year old Joel Ruiz, Belizean cane farmer, reported to police that on Tuesday around 6:00am, he parked his black and grey GMX Sonoma pickup truck in a cane field off the Ramonal/Estero Road in the Corozal District and went to spray his cane field.

 

Upon his return around 9:00am, Ruiz’s vehicle was nowhere to be found. Police have launched an investigation but all efforts to retrieve the vehicle have been unsuccessful. The estimated value of the pickup truck is $5,000.
