tropic-airTropic Air, the San Pedro Town-based local airline today announced that it has started to offer night flights into Belize from Cancun, Mexico. According to a press release from Tropic Air, the first flight – Flight 6621 – arrived at the Phillip Goldson International Airport from Cancun, Mexico at 8:15 pm on Saturday, November 1. The Tropic Air statement said that the maiden night-time flight, with Belizean pilots, Captain Alberto Ancona and co-Captain Wally Nuñez in control, “marked the launch of an entirely new venture into scheduled night time operations to and from our country.” The flight's schedule allows for connections to Condor's flights to and from Frankfurt, Munich, London and Manchester in Cancun, and opens up other convenient travel opportunities to our passengers. Tropic Air currently operates a fleet of 15 aircraft to 16 destinations in Belize, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.
