Screen_shot_2011-07-15_at_7.55.17_PMUp to yesterday the dead body of a male person found late Friday evening lying face up on the right hand side of Muffles Street had not been identified. Tonight that man has been identified as 78 year old Guatemalan national Gregorio Montezinos who resided in the Honey Camp Area. Residents of the area say Montezinos, better known as Don Goyito or el (Gallo) had a drinking problem. They last time he was seen alive by residents of the area was on Wednesday when he went to a purchase some groceries at a small store in Honey Camp.

CTV3 News understands Montezinos had no relatives living in Belize. When inspecting the body police found no signs of violence but are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination to rule out foul play.
