And before we end off our Christmas Eve edition of the News, here is a Christmas greeting to the people of Orange Walk Town from Mayor Kevin Bernard who expressed yesterday his sincere well wishes to all families and hope that the community will celebrate Christmas with cheer, and welcome the New Year with courage and hope for prosperity.

“To all my Orange Walkenos and all Belizeans on a whole lets enjoy peacefully, lets enjoy like brothers and sisters, if you are going to drink, drink responsively remember if you are driving don’t drink, and if you want to drink make sure you have a responsible driver, somebody that will take care of the family we must remember this is a time that everybody strive to overdo things sometimes and we want to ask that we take all the precautions necessary, if you are leaving your home make sure you have somebody taking care of your home, these are thing that we must always remember Christmas comes and go but we have a home that we must protect and our children that we must protect, and our lives that we must secure and those are the things that I ask let us make sure that next year bring us greater things, better things, a better community one that will work together, one that will see development, one that will continue to see progress in our town.”

Christmas is a time to make wishes come true and to give something from your heart, so from all of us here at CTV3 News, we would also like to wish all our viewers and listeners warm holiday greetings from the heart; Merry Christmas to all!
