Two medical teams hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio are scheduled to hold clinics, surgeries and screenings to ailing residents of Orange Walk Town and neighbouring villages. The first group, Partners for Belize, is expected to arrive in Belize end of January and Coordinator of the mission Teams, Nurse Lupe Ack says an array of professionals in Ear, Nose, throat and dental health will provide the free service.

“The first team consist of about 40 persons they will be doing E.N.T.S’s(ears, nose and throats) we will be having dental and hand surgery, also we will be doing village clinics at four villages.”

“When these missions come over screening is done so if I would interest in perhaps getting to see the doctors where do I go what do I do?”

“The first team the screening will be done in Corozal on Friday the 30th of January. Dental and hand surgery will be done here in Orange Walk so people can come in on Friday afternoon we should be seeing more or less about 30 children on Friday afternoon and then on Saturday we will be including children and adults for dental. The first team are from Cincinnati Ohio and they have been coming for the past 9 years.”


The second team will arrive in Belize in February and will be screening patients for ear, nose, throat, and provide plastic surgery to those in need at the Northern Regional Hospital. It is imperative that interested parties pre-register to get access of the services.
