policeThere has been a spate of boat thefts reported in the Corozal District and San Pedro Town and tonight there is another to report. Yesterday morning, 68 year old Shamil Espat, fisherman of San Juan Area of San Pedro Town reported to police that sometime between 6:00p.m on Sunday March 15th and 7:30  on Monday morning his white 25-foot fibre glass skiff  named “Eagle Eye which had a 60 horse power Yamaha outboard engine attached to it valued at $27,625.00 was stolen. He further reported that on Thursday March 12th at about 3:30p.m while securing his skiff on the dock, a man he knows pulled out what appeared to be a hand gun and pointed it towards him and his son and threatened them and then left. Police are seeking this man for questioning.
