Screen_Shot_2015-06-01_at_8.18.55_PMThe second road mishap occurred around 4:00 on Sunday evening on the Philip Goldson Highway between miles 78 and 79 of the Corozal District. Unlike Macal’s unfortunate demise, the occupants walked away from the mishap with little injuries. Deputy Commander at the Corozal Police, Sergeant Peter Serano told us more via telephone today.

“As a result of information, police lately responded, on arrival on the scene a grey and black Mitsubishi Outlander with license plate BZ- C-50777 was seen in a ditch on the right side of the highway travelling towards Corozal town with extensive damages to the front a rear of the vehicle, police investigation so far reveals that around 3:55pm two persons were travelling in the vehicle when the driver lost control and ended in the ditch, both persons received minor injuries and complained about pain on chest and back and they were transported to the Corozal hospital and the vehicle was licensed and insured and the scene was processed and at present the investigation continues to that matter.”
