Screen_Shot_2015-09-01_at_8.16.18_PMAnd in an update to a story we ran before the summer break about an infestation of caterpillars morphed into white moths at the San Estevan Primary School, we are happy to report that the situation has been eradicated. Officials from the school told us that while the phenomenon seems seasonal, the last occurrence was one of the worse witnessed. We were also informed that two of the ten almond trees were cut down so in the event another occurrence befalls, it won’t directly affect the students’ classrooms. The new school year at this institution and the many others around Orange Walk Town started off without a hitch and we wish all students, teachers and school leaders an excellent and productive year.
