Screen_Shot_2015-09-07_at_7.55.02_PMSince February we have been following the suit against Parliamentarian and Orange Walk Central Area Representative John Briceno. As we told you, Briceno has been charged with driving without due care and attention, failing to report an accident, and harm upon Christopher Hendricks, who is the Deputy Prime Minister's driver. In his report against the plaintiff, Hendricks claims that Briceno ran over his foot with his gold Toyota Prado that he was driving on Thursday, January 22nd at the Belize High School of Agriculture Compound, located in Trinidad Village, Orange Walk.

They were there for the inauguration ceremony for the San Lazaro to August Pine Ridge Road. As we've reported, Briceno completely rejects the accusation calling them “trumped up charges” but he still has to beat these charges in the Magistrate's Court. He appeared before Magistrate Murlene Moody today, and he was given a further adjourned date until December 21st, 2015.
