IMG-20151102-08203The month of November started off with a fatal road traffic accident as yesterday, a resident from the San Lazaro Village lost his life in a traffic collision. Authorities say the victim who has been identified as Jorge Moguel was riding his motorcycle accompanied by Josue Chan on the Yo Creek road when on the opposite direction and upon reaching a curve, collided into a red Ford F150 pick-up truck. Traffic Officer at the Orange Walk Police Department, Roger Briceno gave us an official account of the incident..

“Police visited the area where it was learnt that Rudy Reyes of San Carlos Village was driving a Ford F150 pickup coming towards Orange Walk Town when he collided with a motorcycle that was traveling toward Yo creek Village the driver of the motorcycle was transported to Northern Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival at the time he was accompanied by Josue Chan who also received body injuries who also was admitted at the hospital.”


The driver of the Ford pick-up truck, Rudy Reyes has been served with a notice of intended prosecution.
