Miguel_ChataIn other crime news from the North, police in orange walk have arrested and charged a burglar who attempted to burglarize Hilda’s Hotel located on Zericote Street. Authorities say the quick response from the Hotel’s security led to the detention of a male who is no stranger to the law.

“Ruben Guerra, Belizean businessman of 13th Guadalupe Street, reported that on given date at about 2:30am whilst at his home he got a phone call from his security guard who informed him that someone is trying to break into his business establishment Hilda’s Hotel on Zericote Street, Orange Walk Town, Mr. Guerra informed police who responded and caught Miguel Chata , a Belizean unemployed of San Lorenzo Housing Site who was seeing jumping out of the yard with a machete in his hand, police have arrested and charged Miguel Chata for the crime of attempt burglary.”
