Screen_Shot_2016-03-01_at_7.58.40_PMOne week has passed since 21 one year old Carlos Reyes along with a second unidentified male plunged into the New River and never resurfaced.

Today Orange Walk police are still uncertain of the identity of the second man believed to have drowned. According to Orange Walk police while the search has been suspended, they are no closer to discovering his identity as no one has come forward to place a missing person report.

After so many days in the water police believe that the body may never be discovered. Since the incident occurred on Monday of last week there have been many assumptions as to the truth behind the occurrence. Many believe that there was never a second body to be found but police say they are following statements and evidence in the case that indicate that there was in fact a second individual who jumped into the river.
