colvilleGovernor-General of Belize, His Excellency, Sir Colville Young accompanied by Lady Norma Young are scheduled to attend the Fifteenth annual Conference of Presidents and Governors-General of the Caribbean Community that will be held this year in Antigua and Barbuda under the theme “Maintaining the Relevance of the Crown in a Changing Caribbean”.


The conference which will be hosted by the Governor- General of Antigua and Barbuda, Sir Rodney Williams, commenced today 29th March and concludes on the 1st of April where several important issues will be discussed including presentations by Sir Christopher Geidt, the Private Secretary to Britain’s Queen Elizabeth, on the topic, “The Crown and the Caribbean Realms – The Relationship”.


During the absence of his Excellency, Sir Colville Young, the functions of his office will be performed by Carlos Perdomo CVO, Cabinet Secretary.
