“Bishop Martin is been in existence over ten year and over that period we’ve had a number of achievements that has made us proud of the High School perhaps today is an official one and we are here to honor and to recognize the achievements of one of our fellow students, it is the reason why Bishop Martin exist, it is the reason it is here to provide each and every one of you with a foundation with education for you to make a better life, for you, for yourself and for the community and like the rest of the Board we are extremely proud and happy that Angel has made this achievement that we are her to celebrate with him. He has achieved quite a lot for the high school and more than anything else what we want here today that you students to get from the example of Angel is that all of us can achieve better, maybe all of us may not go to Harvard but all of us should aspired to go to higher education; to Sixth form, to Junior College, to University, and even more, even if that is not our aspiration we should always aspire to other things as well; starting our own business, getting a meaningful job creating a better life for our self and our families and for the rest of the community.”

Briceno also took the opportunity to congratulate Navidad on his latest achievement which helps to highlight the values and dedication of Bishop Martin High School proving that education at the institution is at a world class level.

“Being accepted at Harvard is for us I think is perhaps the proudness achievement that we can think of and Harvard is at the pinnacle of education not just in the US but worldwide and to think that one of our students can make it there tells us that here at Bishop Martin we are doing what is right we giving the student a sound world class education to continue with life. I think bishop Martin has demonstrated and not only with angle’s achievements but I think Bishop Martin had been demonstrating for some time now that we are a serious high school and we take responsibility seriously and nationally we are achieving the objectives of the school.”

For his great achievement the school and Board of Directors awarded Navidad with a number of items that will assist him in his new endeavor.
