imagesTonight Audibamdlo Monima the former Northern Region Health Manager who resigned last week after being an option to resign or be terminated after his file was reviewed and it was established that indeed he was unqualified for the position which required a Master’s Degree in Public health administration, Health systems management and a minimum of five years’ experience in health administration, finance and human resource management, neither of which Monima possessed.

Monima resigned but under the terms of his contract, he was to be given three months’ notice, so the Ministry can now either choose to send him home and pay him for those three months, or keep him around for three months and find something for him to do. That is also being reviewed.

The post will now be advertised for qualified persons.
