The village council of San Pablo is made up of a PUP chairman, three PUP and three UDP counselors who made a commitment to the people to work as one for the betterment of the village. But it seems that the San Pablo village council, much like the one in Trial Farm village is already facing disunion as on Friday the official swearing in ceremony for the team was held but the three councilors from the UDP slate were not present for the occasion.
Javier Sabido- Chairman
Even though an official invitation was sent to the three UDP councilors, they were a no show. Their actions, according to Chairman Javier Sabido, speaks volumes of their willingness to work for the betterment of San Pablo.

Former P.U.P standard bearer of the north constituency here in Orange Walk, Ramon Cervantes Jr., echoed the advice given on Thursday to the Trail Farm Village Council that the chairman and councilors must put politics as well as personal issues aside in order to better serve the people of the community.

“Tonight is the swearing in and they will start working after this because they will become officials as a matter of fact they have started working, I think they have issued a scholarship to one child even before the election so they have started that process so they will continue the work I am very sure and very certain, this thing about central government not being on their side, well Central Government was with past Village Councils and they still not have done a lot as a matter of fact here in San Pablo I think they had a fight between the representative and the village council here and but I think that the village council here with the leadership of Mr. Javier Sabido, they’re very serious about working and bringing the community together and they could raise funds to realize their projects and make them come through.”
The three UDP councilors were sworn in on Friday morning at a different location.
