The vessel is categorized under the ‘Breakaway plus’ class of cruise ships along with the Norwegian Bliss which features interiors with innovative designs and luxurious amenities such as an aromatic salt room, a thermal pool and sauna to name a few.
The Norwegian Escape’s first call to Belize took place on August 17th, 2016 in which approximately four thousand two hundred forty eight passengers and one thousand seven hundred thirty one crew members were aboard. The Plaque Exchange ceremony had been originally scheduled to take place during the ship’s first call, however, it was postponed as a result of the inclement weather at that time.
