As a result of his continuous perseverance and hard-work within the department and throughout the community for the entire month of September, Heredia received a certificate of appreciation and a monitory contribution among other items as his reward.

“I feel happy in a way but I need to also congratulate my coworkers because this achievement cannot be accomplished without the person who worked along with me, they are the ones who always push me to work towards that.”

Though Heredia worked relentlessly to achieve this recognition, he encourages other to follow in his footsteps.

“I would advise them to just continue doing what they are doing here at Orange Walk most of the police officers are to a standard and I believe that they would only supposed to keep it up.”


Heredia has been enlisted in the Police Force for approximately twelve years.
