Certainly not this group of parents who from last week Thursday have been picketing in front of the La Inmaculada Parish demanding for teachers to stand down from the strike and return to the classrooms immediately. This morning the group was back on the streets while the Belize National Teachers Union met with the Prime Minister to discuss the salary deferral. The peaceful demonstration ended shortly after 10:00 followed by a short gathering at the parking lot of the Banquitas House of Culture.
