Final preparations for the annual Orange Walk Institute for Technical and Vocational Education and Training Expo and Trade Fair are in full swing as we speak. The Expo, which is one of the institution’s leading marketing events, will take place tomorrow morning at the school’s campus. The aim of the activity is to recognize the quality of work, skills and talents imprinted in each student and at the same time, providing a gateway for new matriculation of students.

“This is an annual event this is our expo and trade fair and it takes place tomorrow March 22nd and we start at nine in the morning to three in the afternoon. What can Orange Walkenos expect, the best of the best and the trainees are working very hard today as a matter of fact since September to show case what they have learnt so far in their respective trade and in their different classes. This event is one of our major marketing event that we have at the Institution its where the employers, parents and the community at large they can come and view what we have to offer here at the Orange Walk ITVET, it’s a day where they can come and experience first-hand what it’s like to be at the Orange Walk ITVET so an event like this is very fruitful for us when it comes to enrolment and recruitment as well.”

In addition to the display of students’ work, the expo also incorporates a host of fun-filled activities which will be occurring on campus simultaneously, says Chairperson of the ITVET Events Committee, Josette Espadas.
