Screen_Shot_2017-05-16_at_8.22.35_PMAccused killer William “Danny” Mason was in court in Belmopan today along with the four others accused of the murder of Llewellyn Lucas back in July of 2016. Mason was found with the severed head of the Pastor in his black Ford F150 pickup. They were in court today for the Preliminary Inquiry in relation to the charges of “Kidnapping” and “Conspiracy to commit kidnapping”. But the matter was adjourned to June 12th before Magistrate Anderson. That’s because Mason’s attorney could not make it to court today. Mason is being shuttled both to Belmopan and to Belize City courts given that the kidnapping is said to have happened at the Intelco Hill home of William Mason. The high profile case has seen the Belize National Teachers’ Union request an international investigation into the ties Mason had to several government officials, chief among them the then Minister of Police, John Saldivar.
