noimageA woman from the Village of Guinea Grass is tonight facing the long arms of the law after she allegedly dropped five grams of crack cocaine in the police mobile. Orange Walk cops were on mobile patrol on Friday June 23rd when they stopped and searched a male person traveling on a motorcycle at around 12:20pm.  Traveling along with the individual was 21 year old Nuri Mairani Lopez who while being escorted to the station was seen dropping an object on the floor of the police vehicle. The item was retrieved and turned out to be a transparent plastic bag containing 5 grams of Crack Cocaine. Mairani was detained for drug trafficking.
