Screen_Shot_2017-08-29_at_8.01.51_PMYesterday we reported on the fatal traffic accident here in Orange Walk Town on Sunday which claimed the life of fifty one year old, Raymond Hendricks.

A postmortem examination was conducted today on Hendricks’s body which concluded cause of death as multiple Blunt force Traumatic injuries due to road traffic accident.

The driver of the vehicle at the time of the accident, twenty year old Raymond Dominquez was today formally arrested and charged for Manslaughter by negligence, Causing Death by careless conduct and Drove Motor vehicle without due care and attention. Dominguez was arraigned in the Orange Walk Magistrates court earlier today and offered bail at six thousand dollars which he met.

Dominguez is to return to court on October 7th 2017. We understand that a blood sample was taken from Raymond Dominguez to determine if alcohol was involved in the incident.
