PMPrime Minister Dean Barrow returned to the country today after traveling to Houston. He arrived at 12:05 at the PGIA but while some media houses line up waiting to ask him what his plans are in regards to the controversial 90 million dollars payment to the Belize Bank they were unable to do so. And that’s because today the P.M avoided the media. He had his driver pick him and his wife up on the tarmac right as they got off the plane.

What exactly will happen when parliament reconvenes in Belmopan to vote for or against the payment is not yet known…what we do know however, is that controversy is growing as a number of UDP Ministers have indicated that they will vote against the payment. This morning a notice for a special house meeting this Friday in Belmopan was issued. We believe that the topic of discussion would have been the payment to the Belize Bank. But by 5:00pm media houses got another notice informing us that the special sitting has been postponed.
