Screen_Shot_2018-01-08_at_8.02.58_PMA Police Constable attached to the Guinea Grass Sub-station is tonight in a critical condition at the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital following a traffic accident on the Belize Corozal Road here in Orange Walk Town on Saturday night.

According to reports from authorities, 27- year old PC Enid Tillett was travelling on a Motorcycle headed on a North to South Direction when upon nearing this area on the Belize Corozal Road, a Ford Escape driven at the time by twenty-four-year-old Jesus Enrique Munoz and traveling in the opposite direction collided into the motorcycle.


Subsequently PC Tillett sustained various head and body injuries and was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital and later transported to the KHMH where he is listed in a serious condition.


Munoz, we understand was charged on Sunday January 7th with driving a motor vehicle without due care and attention, failing to give way when changing direction, negligent grievous harm and driving a motor vehicle without third party risk insurance in connection to this accident and is to appear in the Orange Walk’s magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
