Political analysts believe that the results of the municipal elections will be a sort of barometer for the Barrow Administration and in particular the leadership of Prime Minister Barrow. Having won three terms since 2008, despite the many scandals that have plagued his administration, it is anticipated that the PM will be measuring the outcome and decide whether he still maintains the confidence of Belizeans.
