Screen_Shot_2019-11-06_at_7.43.00_PMA nineteen-year-old from the village of San Lazaro here in the Orange Walk District today also appeared before Senior Magistrate Patricia Arana for stealing a stereo system from his mother’s home.


According to Police reports, forty-three-year-old Leticia Carrillo reported to authorities that on Saturday October 2nd her son, nineteen-year-old Emmanuel Carrillo stole a stereo system from inside her home valued at four hundred and fifty dollars. Carrillo also reported to police that her son had admitted to having sold the stereo and reportedly went drinking with the money. Police subsequently arrested and charged the teen with theft.


Emmanuel today appeared before Magistrate Patricia Arana where he pled guilty to the offence. Carrillo was subsequently offered bail at the sum of five hundred dollars, he was also ordered to by Magistrate Arana to attend counselling at the National Drug Abuse Control Council (NDACC) here in Orange Walk before he returns to court on December 30, 2019.
