Remember Mexican national Jose Luis Robles Beltran, who was detained by Corozal Police after he was found in possession of a .25 caliber pistol, nine rounds of ammunition and 18 $100US counterfeit notes while shopping at the Corozal Free Zone on February 24th?
His legal fate has been up in the air since he pled guilty to all charges; then was granted bail on the weapons and ammunition charges; then had his counterfeit charges thrown out before he was again detained by Police to await a decision by the DPP.
Well today Beltran had another day in Court, this time before Magistrate Dorothy Flowers. He was charged with possession of counterfeit currency and remanded to the Kolbe Facility until May 10th.
